                Sea and Lemon is more than a restaurant — it’s the culmination of a lifelong love for cooking and the vibrant flavors of the ocean.
                            
                                In 1960, my father, Don Felipe Rivas, opened La Barca de Oro in Los Angeles, California — one of the city’s pioneering Mexican restaurants and bakeries. I grew up in his kitchens, where I learned that every dish tells a story.
                                
                                Over the years, my own passion turned to the sea. Together with my wife Gloria, we spent years exploring the Pacific coast of Mexico — from Mazatlán to Ensenada, Culiacán to Los Cabos — discovering flavors, techniques, and traditions that now inspire Sea and Lemon.
                                
                                Our concept is born of that journey: an authentic, health-forward, and sophisticated take on Mexican seafood, crafted for the modern tastes of Texas.
